FOS Device Setup

Connecting your FOS device to your TV



Step 1:
Connect a HDMI cable from your FOS device to any open HDMI input port on your TV. Be sure to make note of which HDMI port you used on your TV.

Step 2:
Plug the AC Power Adaptor that came with your purchase it to an electric outlet and the other end into the AC Power input of your FOS device.

Step 3:
Using your TV remote or the menu buttons on your TV. Select the HDMI input port you used in Step 1

(Optional)
If you purchased or plan to purchase a Wireless Keyboard remote. Be sure to insert the USB receiver that came with this remote into the USB 2.0 or 3.0 port. The USB receiver is inside the back of your keyboard remote. For more details visit https://fostv.live/remote-guide/

Step 4:
Select your preferred language / Press Next



Step 5:
Adjust your screen size to fit your TV / Press Next



Step 6:
Select wireless network / enter password / Connect Now



Step 7:
Once connected select “Next”



Step 8:
Overview of your devices home interface / Press Next



Step 9:
Select your time zone by selecting “No”



Step 10:
Scroll down until you find your Time Zone / Press Ok



Step 11:
Ignore the Time Zone Location / Press Complete



Step 12:
This is your Device’s Home Page / Select FOS TV LTV Player



Step 13:
Enter your FOS TV LTV Player Credentials / Select Next



Step 14:
Once entered select the Enter Icon



Step 15:
IMPORTANT – You must select “ALLOW” or app will not work



Step 16:
Select Settings (Lower Right Corner)



Step 17:
Select Other Settings



Step 18:
Make sure all are selected “ON” and Press Back



Step 19:
Select Speed Test



Step 20:
Begin Speed Test (Results need 15 Mpbs or higher)



Step 21:
Select the Update Icon each time you use this App

Apple Device Users

Step 1:
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.



Step 2:
In the search field type in FOS TV player and tap the search button.



Attention:
If your device says Not Found be sure you typed in Fos tv player. If you did then tap “Filters” / select the device type you are using / tap “Back” / then tap the search button again.







Step 3:
Tap “GET” to start the download and install process for FOS TV Player.



Step 4:
Once installed tap “OPEN”



Step 5:
Accept the terms and use agreement.



Step 6:
Enter your FOS App credentials located in the your order confirmation email or by visiting https://fostv.live and login to your account.



Important:
Be sure to enter the following URL https://streamfostv.com:8443 on this login page. Do not enter "http://", only streamfostv.com:8443. You will not be able to login otherwise.



Step 7:
Wait until the app installs all Live TV and Video On Demand content.



Step 8:
If you want Parental Control settings. Then enter your PIN and tap “Select”. If you do not wish to set this up. Then tap “SKIP”. You can always add later located in the settings of the app.



Step 9:
If you want to have a guide to tell you want is on a specific channel, then following these steps:

On your Live TV’s Home Interface Page. Tap “LIVE WITH EPG”

Tap “Yes, Please”

Wait until the app installs guide content.







Important:
You will need to tap “LIVE WITH EPG” everytime you use this app to ensure it is updated with the most recent guide content.

Step 10:
Tap the menu settings located in the upper right corner. Then tap “Refresh Channels and VOD”. Wait until this process is completed.





Important:
You will need to tap “Refresh Channels and VOD” everytime you use this app to ensure it updates all channels and VOD conent.

***This Is A Very Important Step***

Step 11:
Tap the Content Folder of the Network Channel you want to watch. Example “US Networks”. Tap the Network Channel to start the stream. Tap on the video to make it Full Screen and enjoy.



Tip:
To add anything to your Favorites folders. Press and hold on the content you want added until a Yellow Star appears. Repeat these same steps to remove it.

Amazon Device Users

Important Please Read Carefully
The instructions and / or images below may not look the same as your Firestick or Fire TV device. It may have a different firmware installed depending on how old your device is. This FAQ is used as a generic instruction guide to help most Amazon Device users install FOS APP.

Step 1:
Go to “Settings” on your device



Step 2:
Scroll to the left and select “Device”



Step 3:
Scroll down and select “Developer Options”.



Step 4:
Select “Apps from Unknown Sources” and turn this option “ON”.



Step 5:
A message box will appear select “TURN ON”.



Step 6:
If you already have an Internet Browser installed on your device. Skip this step and proceed to step 7.

Hit your back button on your remote until your back to your main interface page. Scroll left to your “Search” option on your device. type in “Downloader”, select it and install this app







Step 7:
Using Downloader or your Internet Browser. Enter the following URL http://fostvlive.com/livetv

This is a medium size app. Therefore, it can take up to a minute to download. If it doesn’t download, then hit cancel and try again.





Step 8:
Once FOS TV LTV Player is done downloading. Select INSTALL and once installed, select OPEN.





Step 9:
Enter your FOS App credentials located in the your order confirmation email or by visiting www.fostvlive.com and login to your account.





Step 10:
Important:

You must click “ALLOW” for the app to work. If you click DENY, the app will not complete the install.



Step 11:
Wait until the app installs all Live TV and Video On Demand content.



Step 12:
On your Live TV’s Home Interface Page. Select the Settings icon per the image below.



Step 13:
Select Other Settings and make sure “Live TV Enabled Media Control is turned on”. Then either hit your “Back” or “Right Trigger” button depending on the remote to exit this setting.





Step 14:
Press your “Back” button on your remote until the app asks you if you would like to exit and select “Yes”. Then reopen the app and your install is completed.



Step 15:
Go to Your Apps and Channels. Select “See All” and scroll right until you see FOS TV LTV. Then reopen the app and your install is complete.





Congratulations, you have successfully installed FOS App on your Amazon Fire device!

Android Phone / Tablet Users

Step 1:
Open Google Play Store on your Android Phone or Tablet.



Step 2:
In the search field type in fos tv and select fos tv itv in the search options.



Step 3:
Scroll down until you see the white and black FOS TV LTV app and select it.



Step 4:
Then select install and open once installed





Step 5:
Enter your FOS App credentials located in the your order confirmation email or by visiting www.fostvlive.com and login to your account.





Step 6:
Important:
You must click “ALLOW” in order for the app to work. If you click DENY the app will not complete the install.



Step 7:
Wait until the app installs all Live TV and Video On Demand content.

Android TV Device Users

Important Please Read Carefully
The instructions and / or images below may not look the same as your Android TV device. The two main reasons are it may have a different Android Operating system or different firmware installed. This FAQ is used as a generic instruction guide to help most Android TV users install the FOS App.

Step 1:
Open any browser that is installed on your Android TV device. This guide uses Google Chrome. We suggest using the same so the steps and images will be very similar if not the same. However, you can use any browser to install the FOS App.



Step 2:
In your browser URL enter http://fostvlive.com/livetv and select “Go” on your virtual keyboard or use your mouse pointer and select the URL per the image below.



Step 3:
Chrome may ask for the following permissions. You will need to give Chrome permission to all these notifications. If it does not ask, move to the next step.







Step 4:
Once the app is done downloading. Click “OPEN” per the images below.





Important:
If you miss the “OPEN” notification mentioned above, move to step 5.

If another notification appears asking for you to give Chrome permission to unknown sources, select “SETTINGS” and turn on the toggle button next to Chrome and hit “Back” on your remote.

Then proceed to step 5





Step 5:
Return to your Android TV Home Page and open your File Browser folder. This usually is a Folder icon in your apps folder.



Step 6:
Select Local Disk and Download Folder.





Step 7:
Select FOSTVLTVPlayer per the image below and press “Ok” on your remote.

Please note, the number sequence may be different than the image below. That is ok, this is the correct file to use.

If you have already installed previous version and are not sure which one to pick. Use the date and time stamp located on the file and pick the one that matches the time and date you downloaded the file.



Step 8:
Select INSTALL and once installed, select OPEN.





Step 9:
Enter your FOS App credentials located in the your order confirmation email or by visiting www.fostvlive.com and login to your account.
